WHAT is Connecting2life?
Above all, I see Connecting2Life as a contribution to a social movement—providing orientation, skills, and resources, and, deeper still, an open invitation to walk a shared path.
Connecting2life nurtures the unfolding of a quiet cultural revolution—not only in how we treat one another but also in how we see each other and human nature itself.
It is a call to a shared path, where connection is no longer just an idea but a lived and felt experience—where being together feels natural and where belonging is real.
It is a movement—a homecoming to what we have always sensed was possible and deeply longed for.
Since its foundation, Connecting2Life has been gifted the opportunity to touch the lives of many thousands through our courses and trainings. Like ripples on water, the essence we share continues to spread—those who have been touched go on to reach countless others in their circles, their families, and their communities.
VISION (WHY)
A globally connected world grounded in empathy and compassion
Connecting2Life is fueling a grassroots movement that sparks a cultural revolution towards a globally connected world, inspired and grounded in the power of empathy and compassion. Our vision is a future where compassionate communication is widely practiced as a core skill – not only to resolve personal, interpersonal, and global conflicts but also to enrich life, enabling it to flourish and flow among all living beings.
MISSION (HOW)
Closing the educational gap: Teaching the Art of Dialogue
People are at the heart of everything we do—at home, at work, and in our neighborhoods, schools, and governments. However, a crucial skill—the art of communication and relationship-building—is rarely taught. As a result, conflict, polarization, and division spread and deepen rapidly. Transforming conflicts and differences into opportunities to foster genuine, seamless collaboration is essential to addressing the individual and global challenges we face today.
At Connecting2Life we are committed to bridging this educational gap by promoting skills in The Art of Dialogue, rooted in the principles of Nonviolent Communication as developed by Marshall Rosenberg and further advanced by Yoram Mosenzon. Nonviolent Communication offers a concrete ‘how-to’ for moving toward the vision of genuine connection between human beings.
OFFERINGS (WHAT)
Connecting2Life addresses a gap in public knowledge. We offer courses, training programs, in-company and team training, mediations, facilitations, interventions and one-on-one sessions (from the general public to those in influential positions).
The following personal and social skills are essential to our curriculum:
- The Art of Dialogue: Navigating the subtleties of being human together- “What is going on within and between people???”
- Connecting in Conflict: Navigating conflicts as a core social skill to create solutions that work for everyone
- Mediation: offering third-party support in conflicts and moments of disagreement or polarization.
- Empathic listening: Expanding our capacity and skills to putting ourselves in the shoes of others as a key element of cooperation
- Self-compassion: treating ourselves with kindness and understanding, especially during difficult times. This involves recognizing our inner experiences, taking full responsibility for them, and learning to communicate them with clarity, vulnerability, and assertiveness.
- Learning to trust our feelings and needs as guidance from our bodies toward genuine care and cooperation.
- And much more…
