The Art of Dialogue

Nonviolent Communication (NVC) workshop focused on ‘The Art of Making Requests’

‘Asking for the moon’

With CNVC Certified Trainer Yoram Mosenzon (Netherlands/Israel)

01-03 March 2019 (Friday evening 18:30-21:30, Saturday & Sunday 10:00-18:00)

Wicklow, Ireland

Do you long to live a life aligned with your passions and values?

To deepen your relationships and go for your dreams?

Life is too short not to go for what you really want!

Making requests is an art of living.

In this workshop we will touch upon 2 simple challenges:

1) How to (REALLY) know what I want

2) How to (dare to) ask for what I want (and what stops us from daring)

And we will explore:

How to connect with your Needs and know what you want

❀ How to stand firmly for your Needs and assertively make Requests

❀ How to hear a NO (and stay alive)

❀ How to express a NO (and stay in connection)

❀ What are the risks of saying a ‘Half Yes’

❀ How to initiate and lead challenging dialogues

We will explore those by practicing skills such as:

❀ The difference between a Request and Demand

❀ The 7 principles for making requests powerful

❀ The 2 sorts of requests: Dialogue and Action requests

❀ Radical Honesty, Radical Empathy

“Nonviolent Communication (NVC)” (Phd. Marshall Rosenberg)
NVC is a practical communication tool that radically transforms your relationship with yourself and others. NVC cultivates assertive honesty mixed with a deep quality of Empathy.
